About me
About me
I’m an experienced coach with more than 19 years’ experience of helping people to improve their performance. Some of the skills I’ve developed to compliment my strong coaching background include strategic planning, operational process design, training design and delivery of both technical and behavioural leadership training. I also have experience of multi-site leadership in both operational and HR functions and have enjoyed working with a wide range of people at different levels of management.
Why coaching?
I decided to become a professional life coach because I wanted to address my own life balance and spend my working day doing what I enjoy the most and that’s coaching people. People have often told me throughout my career that I’m a natural coach so it also made sense to concentrate on what I do best. I’m passionate about helping people to discover what they really want from life and how to climb their ladder of success and to grasp the opportunities they may not have known were there for them.
My style has been described as warm, empathetic, down to earth and practical.
My values
- Integrity - honesty - doing the right thing
- Contribution - sharing - commitment
- Freedom - choice - empowerment
- Order - harmony
I am a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), an organisation which provides a code of ethical and professional standards for coaches as well as support and resources for ongoing personal development, both of which are important to me. I have completed an ICF accredited coach training programme.
